Meet our Team - 2025 Camp Team
Abby was born and raised in Arizona and is currently attending Veritas Prep. She hopes to attend Franciscan University in Ohio. Abby is a member of her school’s cheer team and volunteers with her local church’s youth group. She has a dog named Pepper and loves being part of Camp Hubbard because of its friendly environment and the opportunity to connect with campers. Her faith and family are the most important parts of her life.

Aidan is from Phoenix, Arizona, and is currently attending college in North Dakota. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, hiking, swimming, fishing, and working. He has two dogs and is excited to work at Camp Hubbard because it is fun! Aidan values having a good time while helping others.

Alexandra was born and raised in Arizona but has traveled to places like France, Italy, and Spain. She’s a high school student and is focused on becoming the best version of herself, both mentally and physically. She plays volleyball, basketball, and varsity track and field, and is involved in leadership programs like Lanista, SSO, and Key Club. Alexandra has two younger brothers and two Maine Coon cats she adores. As a former swimmer and camper at Hubbard, she chose to return as a counselor to give kids the same fun experience she had. She values staying active and sees Camp Hubbard as a place to grow, teach, and learn lifelong skills. Alexandra believes in living life to the fullest by doing what makes you happy and staying true to yourself.

Amelia was born in Fargo, North Dakota, and grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota. She’s lived in several places from Montana to San Diego and now calls Arizona home. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management in 2021. She spent four years in global supply chain management before returning to her true calling: working with kids. When she's not at camp, you can find Amelia soaking up the outdoors, hiking, camping, or tending to her plants. Indoors, she loves getting creative with new recipes, diving into a good book, and hunting for treasures at thrift stores. Originally from a farm, she now has a cherished kitten named Ralph. Amelia was inspired by Camp Hubbard's welcoming and positive spirit and is thrilled to be part of the team!

Anel was born in Mexico and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. She enjoys staying active through running and soccer. A proud parent of three beautiful children, Anel’s family has also grown to include six beloved dogs. She is passionate about working with kids and is dedicated to helping them stay safe while having fun.

Ben was born in Colorado and grew up in Arizona. He attended Saint Mary’s High School in Phoenix and now goes to the University of Mary in North Dakota, working toward a nursing degree. Ben enjoys working, spending time with friends, playing guitar, and lifting weights. He has three younger brothers and a cat named Paul. He loves the positive energy and environment at Hubbard and enjoys caring for kids. His faith, family, and friends are most important to him.

Billy was born and raised in Phoenix but is currently studying English and Leadership at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He graduated from Brophy and hopes to become an attorney helping people in need. Billy is involved in a leadership program and volunteers at Garry Middle School. He has three sisters. He values the strong bonds and memories built at camp and cares most about helping others be their best selves.

Bree grew up in California and also lived in Indiana for college. She’s about to graduate with a degree in Sport Management and a minor in Sports Psychology, hoping to become a college softball coach one day. Bree plays college softball and is active on her school’s Student Athletes Committee and the Crossroads League Asa Committee. She grew up with her grandma and younger cousin, with strong support from her aunt and uncle. Bree loves how Camp Hubbard gives kids a fun, screen-free summer and enjoys the friendships she’s made there. God and family are the most important things to her.

Cash was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ, and attends Sunnyslope High School. He plans to study finance in college. He plays varsity and club volleyball, and is involved in FBLA and Chess Club. Cash has three dogs named Daisy, King, and Lacey and a younger brother who also went to Camp Hubbard. He’s excited to travel to Greece next summer with his school. As a former camper, Cash loved his time at Camp Hubbard and now wants to help other kids make great memories too. Staying positive and giving full effort are what matter most to him.

Charlie was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and attends St. Mary’s High School. He plays lacrosse and golf. He’s one of nine siblings and has a chubby chocolate lab named Bear. Charlie chose Camp Hubbard because it’s a place where you can have fun while working. What matters most to him is having good values and enjoying life.

Charlotte was born in Scottsdale and grew up in Phoenix. She’s in high school and will be attending Creighton University on the premed track. She runs cross country and track, enjoys painting, volunteers, and babysits. Her family includes her mom, dad, sister, and her dog Louie. This is her third year at Camp Hubbard, and she loves helping make kids’ summers unforgettable. What matters most to her are her family, friends, and animals.

Dawson is originally from Kansas and graduated from Pinnacle High School. He is currently majoring in Journalism at the University of Arizona. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and going to the gym. He has two dogs named Max and Harley. Dawson loves working with kids and knew Camp Hubbard would be a great fit for him. The most important things in his life are God, family, friends, and education are his “Big 4.”

Francesca was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She is attending GCU studying Sports and Entertainment Management after spending two years at Benedictine College in Kansas. She hopes to work behind the scenes in sports, possibly for the Suns or as a high school athletic director. She played basketball through high school, managed college basketball teams, and currently helps run tournaments across the valley. Francesca is one of seven siblings and loves the fun and chaos of a big family. Her brother’s great experience at Camp Hubbard inspired her to join. Her Catholic faith is central to her life. She also values family, basketball, music, and meaningful conversations.

Frank is a high school senior from Phoenix planning to attend college for a bachelor’s degree. He’s involved in swimming, volleyball, and BTC, and enjoys golfing and reading in his free time. He has three younger siblings and one dog. After loving his experience at Camp Hubbard last year, he’s excited to return and keep building connections with the kids and staff. Family, friends, faith, sports, and his future are most important to him.

Gabriela is a Phoenix native and is a high school student planning to attend college. She’s involved in yearbook and drama. She has two older brothers, enjoys baking, and hopes to get another dog soon. Gabriela loves the unique, welcoming environment at Camp Hubbard and enjoys working with kids, creating lasting memories. Her family, friends, and faith are her greatest sources of joy and motivation.

Grace was born and raised in Phoenix but currently lives in Flagstaff during the school year. She’s an undergraduate at NAU, majoring in psychology with minors in sociology and social science forensics, and plans to become a clinical therapist. She pet-sits often and works as a DoorDash driver, which fits well with her extended stay shifts at Camp Hubbard. Grace is the youngest of four siblings and loves animals and music. She joined Camp Hubbard because her best friend recommended it, and she values creating safe, fun, and healthy environments for kids to grow.

Hayden was born in Chicago but grew up mostly in Scottsdale, Arizona, which he considers a big part of his identity. He attended Brophy College Preparatory and now studies art history and government at Georgetown University, with plans for law school. At Georgetown, he’s involved in the 1634 Society and works as an alumni engagement specialist. Hayden has an older sister and enjoys traveling with his family. He loved his experience at Camp Hubbard last summer and looks forward to continuing to grow there. Family and friends are very important to him and his main way to relax.

Ilycia was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She’s currently studying Hotel Restaurant Management at NAU and is involved with MECHA there. She’s very close with her family and has one dog named Cleo. A fun fact about her is that she enjoys doing aerial silks. Ilycia loves working with kids and wanted to come back for another year at camp! Being kind is what matters most to her.

Ilyssa was born and raised in Scottsdale, AZ. She is currently at the University of Arizona, majoring in Nursing and recently got accepted into nursing school. She hopes to work as an ICU nurse after graduation and eventually become a CRNA. She is part of the Alpha Chi Omega sorority, volunteers at the children’s hospital and Arizona Cancer Foundation for Children, and enjoys running. She has a younger sister, a brother, and a dog named Bella. A fun fact about her is that she doesn’t love sweets. Ilyssa chose to work at Camp Hubbard because she loves being part of a team that creates a fun and safe space for kids to learn and play. She’s excited to return this summer. Her friends, family, future, and faith are very important to her.

Jack was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He attended Sunnyslope High School and graduated from NAU. He enjoys watching football, exercising, and staying active. Jack has three siblings and two dogs named Remy and Annie. He chose Camp Hubbard because it offered a fun summer job that combines working with kids and being around sports. The most important things to Jack are family, friends, fun, and food.

Jack was born in Flagstaff, spent seven years living in New Jersey, and has lived in Phoenix since 2020. He is graduating from Brophy College Preparatory and will be attending the University of Arizona. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, working out, listening to music, and watching movies. Jack lives with his twin younger siblings, his parents, and their mini labradoodle named Max. After three years working at the swim school, Jack is excited to try Camp Hubbard to keep teaching kids and having fun with them. Family and friends are what matter most to him.

Jacob was born and raised in Arizona and has lived here his whole life. He’s at Grand Canyon University, where he’s studying Electrical Engineering. He hopes to work at an energy company and coach sports on the side. Jacob loves playing sports, especially football and basketball. He has two younger brothers. He chose to work at Camp Hubbard because he enjoys working with kids and playing sports. His friends and family are incredibly important to him.
Jacob R.
Jarret was born in Gilbert, Arizona, and has lived all around the East Valley. A true Arizona native, he now lives in Tempe. He graduated from Corona del Sol High School and is currently studying Exercise Science at Mesa Community College. He plans to earn his associate degree and possibly pursue a bachelor’s elsewhere, with interests in physical therapy, broadcasting, and coaching or owning a baseball/softball club. Jarret loves working out and playing baseball. He hopes to do some road-tripping around Arizona and join a rock climbing gym with his sisters. He’s the middle child in a family of five and has one dog named Savannah. A fun fact: he earned his Private Pilot’s License as a teen and plans to get recertified in the future. He describes Camp Hubbard as feeling like “the world’s biggest family reunion” and appreciates the fun, close-knit environment. His top values are God, family, friends, and baseball.

Jason was born in Boston, MA, and raised in North Phoenix, AZ. He spent 4.5 years in Ogden, Utah, attending Weber State University, where he earned a degree in Human Performance and Health Promotion with a minor in PE Teaching/Coaching. He also holds a Master of Education from Grand Canyon University. A longtime admirer of the Hubbard family and their programs, Jason was drawn to Hubbard to experience firsthand what makes their swim schools and sports camps so impactful in the community. He’s been married for 12 years and has three kids as well as a pet tortoise named Herky. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams, traveling, and staying active. Jason values his family deeply and strives to represent and care for them well. He prioritizes health, humility, and mentorship, crediting his wife for inspiring both balance and greatness in his life.

Jess was born in Goshen, New York, and spent her early years in Monroe before moving to Arizona at the age of seven. Since then, she has lived in several towns across the valley. Jess holds a Bachelor's degree as well as two Master's degrees in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, and Special Education, earned from Northern Arizona University and Grand Canyon University. She remains committed to ongoing professional development and continues to teach during the school year. In her free time, she enjoys reading, going to concerts, and taking trips to Disneyland! A fun fact: she’s visited Disneyland over 30 times with her mom! Jess purchased a home with her mom in 2021, and they share it with two beloved dogs! She spent her first summer at Camp Hubbard last year and found it to be a deeply rewarding experience. Despite her many years working with children, being part of the camp team allowed her to grow both personally and professionally. Jess is passionate about creating meaningful connections with both campers and staff, and she believes that every experience no matter how small offers a chance to learn and grow.

Jo was born in Birmingham, England, and lived in Manchester before moving to Phoenix at age 10. She’s currently attending the University of Arizona studying Psychological Sciences, with hopes of becoming a clinical psychologist or psychiatrist. She loves music, singing, dancing, and enjoys hiking and trying new sports. Jo is the only girl among five siblings and has 14 younger cousins. Jo chose Camp Hubbard for the positive community and the joy it brings. She looks forward to another summer of fun, friendship, and making campers smile. To her, happiness is essential and it’s something she strives to bring to others every day.

Katie was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and is graduating from Arcadia High School. She will be studying Elementary Education at the University of Arizona. She’s involved in National Charity League, club volleyball, and her church youth program. Katie comes from a family of five, with two older brothers and has a Jack Russell Terrier named Bandit. This will be her third summer at Camp Hubbard, and she’s loved building bonds with both campers and coworkers. She values helping others grow, whether through teaching or serving the community.

Kaycee was born and raised in Arizona and splits her time between Arizona and West Virginia. She’s graduating with a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from Bluefield State University and plans to pursue a Master’s at Radford University while in ROTC, aiming to commission as a US Army officer. After her military service, she hopes to work in law enforcement. In addition, Kaycee plays soccer at Bluefield State. She has a little sister and lives with her mom, dad, and two dogs. She loves flamingos, which decorate her room. She loved the fun, welcoming atmosphere at Camp Hubbard last summer, making it her favorite job so far. Spending time with her loved ones is very important to her.

Lauren has lived all over the U.S. She was born in Connecticut, with time spent in Massachusetts and California before moving to Arizona after her freshman year of college. She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and will start her Master of Social Work at the University of Texas at Austin this fall, aiming to become a pediatric mental health therapist. Lauren was involved in Humorology as Philanthropy and Music Director, is a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, and Psi Chi psychology honors society. A fun fact about Lauren is that her birthday falls on St. Patrick’s Day. Lauren loves making a positive impact on kids by creating a fun and safe environment. What matters most to her are empathy, family, trust, and respect.

Lauren was born in Colorado and grew up living in both Colorado and Phoenix. She will be attending ASU in the fall, majoring in Film and Media Production. Throughout high school, she held leadership roles including Dance Team Captain, Student Body President, President of Spanish Club, and Head Prefect, and was a member of the National Honor Society and Fine Arts Club. Lauren has two female dogs, Bridget and Nessa. She loves working in a fun environment and enjoys working with children. Humor is very important to her, as she believes it makes the world a much brighter place.

Luke was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, and is attending school at St. Mary’s. He’s involved in his school’s singing club and altar serving. Luke has one brother who also works at Camp Hubbard. A big Green Bay Packers fan, he enjoys spending time with family doing pickleball, biking, and hiking. He chose Camp Hubbard because of its great reputation and his love for sports. For Luke, family, friends, and helping kids learn and grow are most important.

Macie was born and raised in the west side of the Phoenix metro area. She is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Education, hoping to become a PE or History teacher. She enjoys softball, worship, mission trips, and hiking. Macie lives with her parents, two younger sisters, and two dogs. Having worked at Camp Hubbard last year, she loved the experience and what she learned. Her faith, family, and loving others are most important to her.

Maren was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and also lived in Indiana for three years. She attends Ville De Marie Academy and plans to attend the University of Mary in North Dakota to study Occupational Performance, aiming for a master’s in Occupational Therapy. She plays both court and sand volleyball, acts occasionally, and has run track and played basketball. Maren has two siblings, loving parents, and two dogs. She enjoys backpacking and photography. She chose to work at Hubbard because she loves working with kids, staying active, and watching them grow in sports. Maren values keeping kids safe and having fun while building lasting skills and positive relationships over the summer.

Mark was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He is currently in the hiring process for Phoenix PD. He enjoys jiu-jitsu, weightlifting, and sprinting. Mark is one of eight siblings and has 17 nieces and nephews. He says working at Camp Hubbard is the most amazing job he’s had, thanks to the fantastic people he works with. His Catholic faith is very important to him.

Matthew was born and raised in Arizona and has attended Catholic school from preschool through high school. He will be attending Franciscan University. He enjoys playing volleyball, acting, and spending time outdoors. Matthew has five siblings and says his favorite part of Camp Hubbard last year was being there for the kids. What matters most to him is his family and friends, and spreading positivity wherever he goes.

Max was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He’s in high school and is considering college or trade school in the future. He runs cross country and track, and comes from a big family with two brothers, one sister, and three dogs. Max chose to work at Camp Hubbard because he believes it will be rewarding, and his faith is the most important thing in his life.

Max was born and raised in Arizona. He’s in high school and plans to start teaching TaeKwon-Do next year. Max has five sisters, one brother, and two dogs. After loving his experience working with kids the past two summers, he’s excited to return to Camp Hubbard this summer. He values courtesy, integrity, perseverance, courage, and an indomitable spirit.

McKaela was born in Surprise, Arizona, and has lived most of her life in Phoenix. She’s attending school at NAU, studying Marketing with a minor in Advertising and a certificate in Sports and Adventure Media. After graduation, she plans to pursue a master’s in Strategic Communications at ASU and work in collegiate athletic sports marketing. She's involved in Delta Sigma Pi and works as a sports reporter for NAZ Today. At home, she lives with her parents, three siblings, and their dog, Zelda. McKaela chose to work at Camp Hubbard because she was a camper there and wants to give kids the same great experience. Her family is her biggest support system and means everything to her.
McKaela A.
Mitzi was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Wellness from ASU, a master’s in Sports Exercise Psychology from Argosy University, and a teaching certificate from GCU. She currently works as a PE teacher for K–4 students. Outside of work, she enjoys drawing, painting, and puzzles and even has murals around town. She loves her family and has two energetic dogs, Luna the golden retriever and Donatello the pug. Mitzi first joined Camp Hubbard in 2012 and returned in 2021 as a teacher with summers off. She’s loved being back ever since, especially building leadership skills and helping kids make lifelong memories. Family, kindness, and empathy are what matter most to her.

Nat was born and raised in Arizona. She’s a high school student planning to study political science at ASU through Barrett Honors College, with the goal of becoming a lawyer. Nat stays active with swimming, soccer, National Honor Society, Law Enforcement CTSO, and athletic training. She has a younger sister and a lively dog named Blaze, a boxer-pit bull mix. Nat loved the welcoming, fun environment at Camp Hubbard last summer and couldn’t wait to return. Her faith and sense of community are especially important.

Natalya was born and raised in Phoenix. She graduated from Bourgade Catholic High School and now studies Communications with a minor in Marketing at ASU, with plans to pursue a career in PR or advertising. She’s involved in animal service work and Hispanic student empowerment programs. Natalya grew up with her parents, a younger sister, and two adorable dogs. Fun fact: she’s amazing at bowling! She chose to work at Hubbard because of the fun energy and the positive impact it has on both campers and counselors. Family, friends, culture, and her goals are most important to her.

Nate was born and raised in Phoenix. He’s graduating from Pensacola Christian College with a degree in English Education and plans to start teaching during the 2025–2026 school year. He enjoys playing basketball and has a close-knit family with his mom, dad, two sisters, and a dog named Peaches. Nate chose to work at Hubbard because it’s a great job that offers the chance to make a meaningful impact. His family is the most important thing to him.

Nathan was born in South Korea and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. He’s currently attending ASU, majoring in Sports Business with a minor in Sociology. He enjoys hiking, playing sports, cooking, working out, and coaching, and he’s active in several school clubs. Nathan lives with his mom and dad and has two little dogs, Rory and Suki. He’s also very close with his extended family. A fun fact is he loves pickles! Nathan joined Hubbard for a change of scenery and to gain more experience. What matters most to him are family, honesty, having fun, and kindness.

Olivia was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She attended Sunnyslope High School and is now attending Phoenix Christian Preparatory High School. Olivia plans to attend GCU or Maricopa Community Colleges to study forensics. She’s on varsity cheer and basketball teams. Olivia is the middle child with an older sister, a younger brother, and two dogs. She enjoys art. She chose to work at Hubbard because she loves working with kids, staying active, making new friends, and creating fun experiences for campers. Olivia also sees it as a great way to build leadership skills. What’s important to her are education, family, faith, and creating opportunities for a bright future.

Rachael was born and raised in Arizona, with two years spent living in Indiana. She’s homeschooled and plans to study business in college and aims to have a positive impact on kids this summer at Hubbard. Rachael enjoys court and sand volleyball, theater, acting, and choir. She has two older siblings and two dogs. She loves the outdoors such as camping, hiking, and exploring. This is her third summer at Hubbard because she enjoys working with great staff, making kids smile, and building relationships. What matters most to her are friends, family, faith, doing her job well, helping others, and being respected and responsible.

Robert was born and raised in Arizona. He attended North Phoenix Prep and is currently earning his bachelor’s degree in supply chain management. He enjoys soccer, gym workouts, flag football, and participates in business clubs at ASU. Robert has a brother, a sister, and one dog. He likes working with kids. What matters most to him are family, friendships, faith, and building lasting connections.

Sadie was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She graduated from Xavier College Preparatory and will attend the University of Alabama, pursuing a dual degree in psychology and news media. She’s involved in student council, varsity crew, and is NEHS Vice President. Sadie has three younger brothers and two French bulldogs named Bruce and Eddie. This will be her third summer at camp, and she’s excited to return and watch the kids grow each week. What matters most to her is the commitment and effort she puts into relationships with friends, coworkers, and family.

Satchel was born in North Carolina but moved to Arizona before he turned one and has lived there ever since. He attends Arcadia High School, where he works hard in school and hopes to attend a competitive college. Satchel plays on the basketball and baseball teams and is also part of the Arcadia Ambassadors. He has three brothers and a dog named Clover. Summer camp has always been an important part of Satchel’s life. He went to Hubbard and other day camps as a kid before starting a seven-week sleepaway camp at age eight. He spent many summers there and grew to love the camp experience. Now that he's aged out, working at Hubbard lets him stay connected to that fun and positive camp environment. Satchel always tries to give his best effort, whether it’s in school, sports, or spending time with family and friends.

Sean was born and raised in Connecticut. He went to college and student-taught in New York before moving to Arizona in 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from SUNY Cortland and a master’s in teaching and reading from Grand Canyon University. Sean has taught 4th grade for seven years and aims to create positive learning experiences for his students. He has coached youth basketball for 13 years and also has experience coaching youth soccer and flag football. Sean has a cat named Bubbles. He appreciates that Camp Hubbard offers kids opportunities to be active while learning, and he looks forward to fostering a passion for sports in the kids he works with. Creating fun, meaningful, and safe learning experiences for all children is very important to him.

Shelby is from Arizona. She graduated from Scottsdale Christian Academy and is currently attending Grand Canyon University. She enjoys pickleball, hanging out with friends, and going on walks. Shelby is the only girl with three older brothers and has three French bulldogs. This will be her fourth summer at Camp Hubbard, where she loves building meaningful relationships with the kids and watching them grow, even in just a week. What matters most to Shelby are enjoying the little things, her family and friends, and having fun!

Tatum was born and raised in Glendale, Arizona. She plans to play collegiate volleyball and study nursing in college. Her interests include beach and club volleyball, as well as yearbook. She used to horseback ride and has three dogs and two cats. Tatum loves the supportive, kind environment among the staff at Camp Hubbard and the meaningful connections she builds with campers. Family is the most important thing to her.
